All About Origami

Origami is a very fun thing to do.You can make many things using paper.

Origami means folding paper and origami experts strongly discourage people to cut and glue. The purpose is to turn a flat sheet of paper into a structure, there are many things you can make with paper such as animals, ninja stars and more.

Although origami is only one thing there are six diffrent types. The first type is action origami which has movement like inflatable or if it can flap it's wings. The next type is the modular type, which origami consists of putting a number of identical pieces together to form a complete model. The third type is the wet folding type, the wet folding type is an origami technique for producing models with gentle curves rather than geometric straight folds and flat surfaces. The paper is dampened so it can be moulded easily, the final model keeps its shape when it dries. an origami technique for producing models with gentle curves rather than geometric straight folds and flat surfaces. The fourth type is the pureland type, the Pureland origami adds the restrictions that only simple mountain/valley folds may be used, and all folds must have straight forward locations. The fifth type is the Origami tessellation. In origami tessellations, pleats are used to connect molecules such as twist folds together in a repeating fashion tessellation type. The last type is the Kirigami type.Kirigami is a Japanese term for paper cutting. Cutting was often used in traditional Japanese origami, but modern innovations in technique have made the use of cuts unnecessary. Most origami designers no longer consider models with cuts to be origami, instead using the term Kirigami to describe them.Kirigami is a Japanese term for paper cutting.
